Vitalii Yurasov is a Ukrainian photographer and documentary artist. He was born in 1994 in Simferopol, Crimea, and has lived and worked in Kyiv since 2001.
His style is gonzo-documentary, where the photographer becomes part of the events. Working alongside fighters from the Main Intelligence Directorate, Armed Forces of Ukraine, Security Service, National Guard, and State Border Guard, Yurasov’s work conveys not only the reality of the front lines but also a deep immersion into military life, emotional engagement, and attention to detail.
