Salute!

My name is Vitaliy Yurasov. I am a Ukrainian documentary photographer, and since February 24, 2022, I have been researching the war. I cooperate with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Security Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Office of the President, the State Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and I also film the everyday life and work of our defenders. My main motive is to record the history of our country.

Before the full-scale invasion, I actively filmed campaigns for local and international brands, collaborated with famous artists. At the same time, I documented the life of my community - everyday life, travel, extreme sports, and large-scale parties that my friends and I organized ourselves. When I had the opportunity, I filmed for the state. Yes, in 2020 I flew to the east as part of the presidential delegation as a photographer.

Now only documentary photography seems important and significant to me, only it gives me the feeling that I am in my place. So for now, I have focused all my resources and skills on covering the war and the people who defend my country.
