AN-225 MRIYA – O2

The An-225 Mriya is an ultra-heavy transport aircraft designed in 1988 by the Kyiv-based Antonov Design Bureau. Until 2022, the An-225 was the largest, most powerful, and heaviest aircraft in the world, with a maximum takeoff weight of 640 tons. On February 27, 2022, the An-225 was destroyed by Russian forces during the fighting for the Hostomel airport. The photo shows the right wing with a D-18T turbofan engine mounted on it.
